JUNE 2008:
We don't have many shows coming up because this summer is mostly about making our next album. At the end of the month we will begin the recording process. Until then we are hard at work writing and rehearsing. It is looking like this record may be a good mix of "real" sixth in sixes/wars type songs, experimental improvisation ala "sounds", and some totally new craziness we have never tried before. More info as it develops...
In addition to the new album we are also putting together a singles collection which may be released around January. We've done a lot of 7"s over the years, all of which are currently out of print, so it is time to get them all in one place and easily accessible to everyone.
DECEMBER 2007:

OCTOBER 2007:
Important Records released Sounds last week. This record explores the more experimental, improvisational aspects of the band. It is available as both CD and LP. Limited editions of colored vinyl are available while they last.
SEPTEMBER 2007:
HEY!
So its official, we are now starting transfers of the first 5 home videos (1998- 2001). This includes the tour documentary with Deerhoof from 2000 through the south and the show that got us banned from the University Of South Alabama!
BUT we have one BIG problem: tons of people have footage and are holding onto it! So can we please have any footage thats out there sent to us? PHOTOS too... anything archival. You can send photos and scans to us via email, xbxrxnews(at)hotmail.com and you can mail us dvd's or vhs tapes tot he address below. PLEASE if you have any leads on anything hollar here.
We are going to try to have this out by the 10 year anniversary (yikes) May 2008.
